Case Study Examples in the Harvard Business Review

There are dozens of case study examples in the Harvard Business Review. If you look at the HBR database, you will find hundreds of HBS cases and HBR cases from other schools. These cases cover everything from sports to telecommunications, from communications to tourism, to accounting.

Harvard Business Review has a great line that explains it well: “If there is a topic that encompasses the entire faculty, it is the Harvard Business Review. Of course, not all HBR cases are about business, but almost every case is about business.”

So what does it mean that the Harvard Business Review covers just about every topic under the sun with case study examples? For another thing, the cases are chosen by HBR editors who hire both experts and contributors to write and edit case studies on a particular subject.

But if you’ve ever read a case study example, it means that the writer had some input about the case study. So it’s not just that they had some input, but also that they made an informed decision.
